Damage Claims
What if something arrives broken?
This rarely happens, but if it does, save ALL of the boxes and packing materials. Once your order leaves our warehouse, the shipping carrier is responsible for any damage, however, we will gladly assist you in the claims process.
To file a claim you must contact us at claims@saltwaterobsession.com within seven days of receipt of the merchandise. ("Receipt" is determined by the delivery date provided by the carrier.) All the packing material and damaged merchandise must be available for the shipping carrier’s inspection, or the claim will be denied. The shipping carrier will investigate and return the damaged merchandise to SaltwaterObsession.com.
Claims could take up to 21 days to resolve. Once the claims process is complete, you will receive credit via your credit card. There are no discounts or exchanges for damaged orders, and the damaged product must be returned to receive any refund. Insurance carrier claims are final. All orders are fully insured.
